Another successful workshop organized by members of Ostroha took the place on Saturday 20th July 2013 in  Slovak In Ireland House in Dublin

 There was a lot to do and a lot to learn. Our co-ordinators Silvia and Veronika showed us how to change unnecessary jars to nice decorative and useful containers.

 We also made some beautiful  decorations using decoupe technique.

 The second part of the workshop led in the spirit of Slovak traditional weaving where we could learn how to create different types of baskets and bowls using traditional technique but innovated material. Instead of rods we used newspaper, so we can actually continue with such a amusements at home without special requirements.

  We had a lot of fun (see more pictures here) and we are already looking forward to the next Workshop.
